A committed professional and entrepreneur with 25 years of experience wins a competition

During the district stage of the Businesswoman 2026 competition, initiated by UzLiDeP in Yangiariq district, women entrepreneurs from local communities showcased their business projects and products. As a result of the competition, Maryamjon Khudaynazarova from the Savgan mahalla secured first place.

Ms. Khudaynazarova, an entrepreneur with 25 years of experience, founded the “Maryamjon” sewing workshop in 2022. Currently, she employs five women permanently, has trained over 3,000 apprentices, and offers free vocational courses for women in social need and unemployed youth.

Throughout the competition, the jury assessed the participants’ business initiatives and products. Winners and participants received diplomas and commemorative gifts. The event helps promote women’s entrepreneurial potential, boosts employment in mahallas, and supports new business ventures.
